FAQs

Will my counselling sessions be covered by my insurance?

Many Extended Health Benefit plans provide coverage for counselling services offered by Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs). We recommend checking your specific insurance plan for details regarding your coverage. Following each session, you will be provided with a receipt, which includes my professional license number. This receipt can then be submitted to your benefits provider for reimbursement.

How often should I book sessions?

When it comes to scheduling, we'll find what works best for you and your unique needs. Many people find it helpful to start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build momentum and create a strong foundation. However, meeting every three to four weeks is also a great option. My priority is to make this process feel comfortable and accessible, so we'll decide together on a plan that fits your life. If you'd like to explore this further, I'd be happy to chat in a free 15-minute consultation call.

How will I know if a counsellor is a good fit for me?

When it comes to counselling, research shows that the most important part is the connection between you and your therapist. It's more about feeling safe, heard, and respected than any particular tool we might use. That special bond is what really paves the way for great change.

If the words on my website feel like a good fit, I'd love for you to book a free chat. You can ask me anything you like and get a feel for my energy. I can't wait to hear from you!
